After investigation, we found that Zhang's warehouse contained a large number of items suspected of being washing machines. Xue Yongliang, a guide of the Juye County Food, Drug and Environmental Investigation Brigade and a member of the 9/11 special task force, told reporters that on September 8, 2023, the Juye County Public Security Bureau received clues from the Heze City Public Security Bureau and established a special task force to investigate the issue of a counterfeit well-known brand of washing machines. Through investigation and analysis, it was believed that Zhang had significant suspicion of selling counterfeit well-known brand washing machines.".
On September 11, 2023, in the 4000 warehouse rented by Mr. Zhang in Taomiao Town, Juye County, the task force concentrated on seizing more than 2000 counterfeit well-known brand washing machines, and Mr. suspect Zhang absconded.
The police officers of the task force followed the investigation route and after traveling more than 3000 kilometers, they finally discovered that the logistics vehicle was sent from two warehouses in another city. The police officers of the special task force quickly rushed to other places and, through secret investigation, discovered that the lessee of the warehouse was a certain Resource Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Resource Recycling Company"), and the signatory was Xing. The special task force believed that he had significant suspicion.
On October 13 of the same year, the special task force carried out a network arrest and seized more than 5000 counterfeit well-known brand washing machines and counterfeit equipment in a warehouse involved in the case. On October 16, suspect Xing was captured. Immediately, the suspect He, Gong, Xu and Zhao came to the case one after another. On October 25, suspect Zhang surrendered himself to the Juye County Public Security Bureau.

In order to seek illegal benefits, Xing's resource recycling company dismantled a small portion of washing machines with poor quality, and the remaining over 70000 washing machines were privately acquired by Xing and resold to partners such as He at the original price.

According to suspect He, Xing rented the warehouse in the name of Resource Recycling Company, and He, Xu and Zhao co financed it, and sold more than 70000 damaged and scrapped washing machines to the company. After purchasing, Gong privately assembled and refurbished more than 2000 units with poor quality before reselling them to Zhang in Juye County, Heze City.
According to Mr. Zhang, the suspect, he has operated household appliance stores for many years and knows that this kind of washing machine can make huge profits. In order to seek illegal interests, Mr. Zhang purchased more than 2000 sets of this batch of counterfeit well-known brand washing machines through the suspect Gongmou in August 2023. In e-commerce platforms and offline stores, he pretended to be a well-known brand washing machine through formal channels and sold them at a price far below the market price.
